CHENNAI: Bhargav Merai scored 94 while U Mukilesh hit 71 as Globe Trotters started their campaign on a high blowing away Alwarpet by 172 runs in the first round match of the 18th VAP Trophy here on Wednesday. In the other match of the day, Naushad Shaikh slammed 126 to help Young Stars beat Jolly Rovers by five wickets.
